Screening of 'Bapu Ne Kaha Tha'

Hello friends....

Plz find below the report sent by Ankita from Public Concern for Governance Trust.
Thanks a lot Ankita and PCGT team for making our children's day.....

The Chief goal of Public Concern For Governance Trust (PCGT) is to be instrumental in molding the thinking process of children so that they develop in themselves a feeling of being more empathetic, brave, affectionate, and at the same time to get a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage and diversity that India possesses.

The movie ‘Bapu Ne Kaha Tha’ was shown to 35 children and 3 volunteers of the NGO on 2nd May 2010 at 11.15am. The screening was done in their centre. Ms. Ankita Pandya (of PCGT) started the programme with an introduction of the movie. The children were instructed to watch the movie carefully as there would be a question answer session after the movie. The children were excited and watched the movie attentively.

After the movie Ms.Ankita Pandya and the children sang a song “SATYAMEVA JAYATE” and she explained the meaning of the song. Ms. Ankita Pandya then started with the question-answer session. There was a positive response from the students. Every child was eager to give answer.

About 5 to 6 questions were asked and all were answered correctly.

Three prizes were given to children who answered well during this session. At the end of the session, books on Gandhiji were distributed to children.
